My heart is breaking. The gentleman I was supporting, a total stranger to me but his video deeply touched me, is #74. Do you believe in miracles?
This diabetic man, Kevin Thom, recently had his LEG amputated. He is having a REALLY hard time coping with the amputation. (Wouldn't you?) He has pretty much given up hope. He do not have a huge "voting circle" or "team" like some of the contestants, nor does he have the resources to visit the resort on his own, even for a week. Please, please, please join me in helping him with your vote. Just view his REALLY short video (about a minute). I *promise* his video will touch your heart! We just have to get him to the Biggest Loser Resort!
I have been "defriended" and "blocked" by friends because my family extended a hand to a total stranger.
There will be THIRTY FINALISTS, which gives everyone in the competition a better than 1 in 4 chance to make it to the finals! There is room for EVERYONE at the table. I just want this man to have a chance. THIRTY FINALISTS --- room for everyone. After that, it is not a "popular vote"... the ten winners (thank God) will be chosen by The Biggest Loser, on THEIR OWN MERIT. Is there room in *your* heart for someone who does not have anyone? Thank you for considering. ♥

I've been voting for and telling everyone I know to vote for Teresa Draves. Teresa and I both volunteered for a stressful (yet rewarding) job within the Navy community, and I have to say that her tenacity, her helpfulness, her kindness, her humility, her problem solving skills, her ability to organize, and her overall CAN-DO spirit impressed me and still impresses EVERY SINGLE PERSON who crosses her path! You will not find a better candidate than Teresa. She will NOT let you down because she won't let her family or herself down. I hope that you choose her for this once in a lifetime opportunity. She has worked so hard for others for so long, and it's time for her to have something big happen in her life!
I am #8, YESENIA ORTIZ and I really need to move to the next round to have a shot at winning 4 life changing weeks at the BLR. I am morbidly obese. Need to lose 120 lbs. am a single parent and would never be able to afford this for myself. So Please view my video YESENIA ORTIZ and vote TEAM YESENIA. Help me add years to my life so my kids can have a mother for a long time. Thank you!!!
So excited and so humbled to be in the top 30. I so want to take the lessons I am learning physically and emotionally and change my life and help others change theirs. I have dreamed of going to the BL Resort since I fist about it 3 years ago. This would be huge blessing and help me find my direction and a new identity!
Thank you so much for offering this contest. It gives me hope!
I want to see Teresa Draves win. She is a person who is always there to provide support and wise counsel to those she knows. It is her turn to have someone provide her with the guidance and support she needs to achieve her personal goals. This is a woman who has really worked hard for a long time without obvious results. She truly deserves this opportunity. I know she will not take it for granted.

I do believe Teresa Draves should win. She is a dedicated full time mother and has tried so hard to achieve her goals. She has the will of a warrior and will have success with the programs that would be available to her at fitness ridge. Her sister and I have faith in her and know that she will surpass all expectations if given the chance!
Teresa Draves, for sure :) She is a wonderful mom that has put up with a lot and sacrificed so much... Now in this last year of trying to loose weight and prolong her life, she has tried EVERYTHING - I have been right here watching. She has worked out 3-5 times a week this last year, eaten an all natural diet off and on, and she has stayed active even whaen she isn't at the gym. Doctors won't listen when she tries to ask for help figuring out if there is a reason the weight is staying on. Biggest looser could be her chance to figure out what is up and why her body isn't responding to working out. She is a totally deserving wife and mother.

My friend Teresa Draves is not only the best friend ever but also the most in need of this out of anyone I've ever seen. She weighs over 350 pounds and has been trying for years to get the weight off. She works hard at Crossfit daily, she monitors and works on her diet to continually make it healthy and help her lose weight, she's constantly trying something but has not been able to lose the weight she needs to help her knees and joints get stronger so she can do even more. She's always been there for me and many other people when they needed someone. There is no better friend in the world! She's dedicated to her family, especially her husband, she's an amazing teacher, she helps people as a Navy Ombudsman, whatever she does she does it to help others. Please help her to make it on the Ranch!
We would love to see Tesea Draves win. Teresa is a Navy wife and dedicated mother. She has struggled with her weight for a very long time and has worked very hard at finding a solution. She really needs your help! I think the Ranch has the tools to help her in her struggle. Vote for Teresa!!!
I think Tracy Hoyt should win one of the months. I could totally relate to her video. It was humorous but yet honest. I think she is a giver and should be given the chance to improve her health.
I would love to see Tracy Hoyt win a Year of You trip to Fitness Ridge. I can certainly relate to putting others needs before my own. She has devoted her life to her 3 children and her husbands military career and it's high time she focus on herself. We often honor and recognize our military men and women with little acknowledgement of the sacrifices a military spouse makes for his/her country by supporting the family left behind while our service men and women defend our country. I would love to see her honored and supported while she learns the necessary tools to become healthy in 2012. Vote for Tracy!!
Tracy Hoyt is a must. She is the most selfless person I know, and is always trying her best to please others. I'd love for her to turn her life around and to have a little time for herself... She definitely deserves it.
Please help me get to the resort!! I am currently #47, Bethany Vale, I need to move up to the top 30 to be considered a finalist for the grand prize! Please help me get a shot at this amazing opportunity! I am 41 years old and feel like I am still waiting to start my life, this can't be it!! Please help me change my life and get healthy! http://apps.facebook.com/promotionshq/contests/160284/voteable_entries/40914804?page=1
I am humbled and excited to be in the top 30! I feel very blessed, thank you for posting this so we have an idea of where we all stand :)
Tracy Hoyt deserves to go to the ranch! She has been a selfless military spouse and mom to her 3 children. Lets not forget about the HEROES who stay behind to ensure the homes and lives of military families stay intact and well adjusted. Tracy deserves this! Vote for Tracy!
I met Teresa in the gym. I am constantly inspired by her positive approach, her stamina and willingness to try anything. She is aware of her limitations, but never gives up. When I find myself struggling through a workout, I just look at Teresa and know if she isn't giving up, then I 'm not going to give up either. She continues to amaze me with her kindness. I believe she deserves this opportunity because she has been diligent in helping herself for the past year and seems to be at a plateau. She will give 100% to herself, and then pay it forward.
Thank you all for sharing your thoughts. Keep spreading the word on Facebook to urge people to vote! Best of luck to everyone.
I cast my vote for Tracy Hoyt. I'd love to see all these wonderful people go--there are some amazing and heart-rending stories out there, truly. But Tracy devoted 20 years of her life to her husband's Air Force career. As a military wife myself, I understand that it's not just those in uniform who serve--Tracy exemplifies the best of a military spouse, devoting herself whole-heartedly to her family, community, and fellow military families in so many ways. It's time she did something for herself, and I am thrilled for her that it appears she may yet make it. :)
